SCH-EU-CRD-NL — NL
Sources: Directive 2011/83/EU · Directive (EU) 2019/770 · Dutch Civil Code consumer distance-contract rules · Wet tot wijziging van Boek 6 BW (cancellation button for online traders, in force 19 June 2026) · GDPR/AVG
- All SCH-EU-CRD items apply. Conflicting contractual terms yield to mandatory Dutch/EU consumer law.
- Distance/online consumer contracts: a 14-day withdrawal (cooling-off) period generally applies where the statutory right exists. Statutory exceptions remain applicable (including the digital-content exception only with prior express consent, acknowledgment of loss of withdrawal, and confirmation).
- Withdrawal/cancellation information must be provided before the contract is concluded.
- For applicable online trader/service contracts concluded on or after 19 June 2026, Dutch law requires a clear online cancellation mechanism (cancellation button) in addition to Store subscription management. This page does not claim that every app screen already implements that control; the statutory duty, where it applies, is not waived.
- Digital goods/services: statutory conformity rights cannot be excluded by contract where mandatory law forbids it.
- GDPR/privacy rights are described in the canonical Privacy Policy, not duplicated here.
- Complaints and remedies follow applicable mandatory law. This schedule is not a guarantee of “full legal compliance.”
- App UI language is independent of country (
country ≠ locale). Dutch (nl) and English (en) are offered for this country.
Do not treat Belgium (BE) Dutch materials as this Netherlands schedule.
